TEAMS: Alexandria, Brainerd, Fergus Falls, ROCORI, St. Cloud Apollo, St. Cloud Tech, Sartell-St. Stephen, Sauk Rapids-Rice, Willmar 

ENTRIES: See time schedule sheet for entry limits

RUNNING EVENTS:            -Heat and lane assignments random draw

                                    -All events are timed finals (fast heat first)

                                    -Clerk at the NW corner of the field house

FIELD EVENTS:        -Enter individuals at the site using assigned number

-LJ and TJ are run cafeteria style

-Shot Put entries will be random draw when they sign up.

-Shot Put weigh-in at throwing sector beginning at 7:30 am

           

SCORING:    10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 all events

STARTER/REFEREE:       Lee Fitzharris

GAMES COMMITTEE:   Willmar, Brainerd, and Alexandria.  Head coaches: boys handle boys events, girls handle girls events

TRACK FACILITIES: ¼” max pyramid or tree spikes (no pin spikes)

RESULTS: results will be posted during the meet and complete results will be available after the meet.

We will be on a rolling time schedule; please use listed times as a guide but we will move ahead of schedule if possible. Athletes report to the clerk in the NW corner of the field house.

2. No food or beverages other than water are permitted in the field house. 

3. Unlimited entries. No scoring. 

4. Each school needs to time their own runners. We will provide field event workers.

Off and running

The season is off and things are great. We have about 95 girls and boys 9-12 out and they are working hard. Here are some important upcoming dates:

Monday March 23, have fundraiser turned in by this date

Tuesday, March 24, indoor meet at Foley

Wednesday, March 25, picture day at the middle school

Saturday, March 28th, CLC Indoor Meet at St. Cloud State

Track season begins March 9th

The season will begin on March 9th. Check in with the activities office to make sure you have all paperwork completed.  Parent-athlete-coach meeting will take place that evening at 7:00 pm in the high school PAC.

Bus to State Meet

We will have a bus that will take any interested Storm trackster to the State Meet Friday. We will leave from door 7 at the high school at 7:00 am and return mid afternoon. Ticket price is $7.00 for students.

Reminder of the awards night on Sunday, June 8th at 5:00 pm in the high school PAC.

Reminder to get your uniform turned in if you have not done so.

Here are the highlights from the Section 8AA Meet on day 2 in Thief River Falls:

The team did not advance anyone to the state meet. The team will hold it's awards night on Sunday, June 8th at 5:00 in the PAC at the high school.
