Awards Program

The track and field awards program will be held on Sunday, June 9th at 5:00 pm in the PAC in the high school.

Reminder to get your uniform turned in to Coach Finlayson by June 9th.

The Storm enjoyed an eventful Section 8AA meet with the team recording 38 season best performances, highlighted by Sam Sunstrom qualifying for the State Track and Field Meet to be held at Hamline University on June 7-8. Sam will run the 1600 meters on Saturday. Sam ran the 1600 in 5:13.66 at the section meet, finishing second in a school record time. Sam also set the school record in the 3200 meters on day 1 of the meet at Detroit Lakes in a time of 11:15.80, good for 5th place.

CLC Results

Sunstrom, Fleck earn All-Conference Honors.

Sam Sunstrom and Malachi Fleck earned All-Conference honores at the Central Lakes Conference Track and Field Championship Meet held may 23rd. Sam finished 3rd in the 1600 meters and 2nd in the 3200 meters while Malachi finished 2nd in the pole vault. Tessa Voss and McKinley Lain earned Honorable-Mention All-Conference honors for their performance. Tess was 4th in the pole vault while McKinley was 6th in the 800 meters. The Storm has 45 season best performances on the day.
Girls team finished 8th overall and the boys finished 9th.
