True Team

The Storm performed well on a beautiful day at the Section 8AAA True Team Meet. The team recorded over 30 season best performances as they show that they are training well and getting better. The teams scores placed the boys 8th and the girls 9th overall. The top performances of the day included Sam Sunstrom running 5:17.85 in the 1600 meters, placing her second best in school history. Matt Huberty, Zachary Haffner, Brandon Landowski, and Jake Lynch had the winning time in the 4 x 100 relay at 43.79 which is 4th best in school history. Ali Syme also had a great day with personal bests in the shot and discus.

Mega Meet

Another Mega meet has come and gone. First a HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who helped us out to make the meet the success that it is and for helping us continue to try to run the best darn track and field meet around. It's not easy to run a track meet, so it's awesome to have so many people willing to help us out. Thanks again.

As for the results, it was another good day for the Storm as we racked up about 35 personal best performances. Sam Sunstrom broke her own school record in the 3200 meters, running to a second place finish in a time 11:24.99. Jake Lynch took over 2nd place on the school's 300 meter list with a time of 39.98, good for a second place finish. Here are the top 8 finishers for the team:
