May 19th meet cancelled

We decided to cancel the meet scheduled for May 19th for a couple of reasons. First we have a lot of kids who could use the rest instead of competing. Second, we have a group of kids who have confirmation that night. Given how many kids would not be competing that day we decided that it would be best not to have the meet and get our kids ready for the CLC meet.

May 24th CLC Meet at Sartell starts at 3:00 pm
May 26th JV Meet @ Rocori
June 1st Section 8AA Day One @ Detroit Lakes, starts @ 3:00 pm
June 3rd Section 8AA Day Two @ Apollo, starts @ 9:30 am

Section 8AAA True Team

The team had another good day at the section 8AAA True Team meet Thursday. We had 40 personal best performances, so the kids keep improving. I'm really proud of the effort of our kids. I really like the true team meet because it makes every effort count, we aren't just scoring the top finishers, we are scoring first to last. When you go out and improve on your season best performance, I can't ask for more then that. I know we got home a lot later then I thought, but some things are beyond my control. Mega Meet wrap

Wow, what a great day for the Mega Meet. It was a huge success thanks to all the people who did such a great job helping out with the meet. The team had 44 season best performances on the day, including 5 new entries on our top performance list and one new school record. Those would be:

Holdingford Meet results

The boys came in first and the girls were second in the Chet Blascziek invite in Holdingford Friday. It was classic Holdingford weather with wind and rain, but the team still responded with many great results.
Mega Meet takes center stage this week as we get ready for the 19th annual meet to be held on May 7th beginning at 9:30 am. Check out the results from Friday in the results link.
